Okay, another day with another ETK joint and this one is inspired by Totom in a sense. You see, I remember him releasing Pure Rock back in 2009 and it is surreal that Placebo and Smashing Pumpkins have sounding comparisons to this song. Shortly after that, I notice another comparison and was set to make this track but needed a good instrumental track for Every You, Every Me even if it's a good soundalike and it did took time until say, 2011 or 2012, when that happened and it worked like a charm (with few helpful tweaks involved). Now will be back with another track in a couple of days time so watch this space.

Okay, time to throw in two tracks in this thread. Now this one is in my sense a tribute to American Edit since that album was released ten years ago and I am a bit surprised this hardly gets a mention. Maybe Party Ben and Team9 might have brought it up on twitter but how far we go from this album or The Grey Album is something.

Before I should move on to the next track, I should note that I released this a couple of days before I made this post and already got a criticism involving this and I see a issue on this one so if somebody want to point out anything other than OOK and minor pitch issue on first verse and chorus, feel free to bring it up and I might make a note of this for the future (since I still have the source files for this and others that I brought up on OK E-Pro thread).

The next one is another Gorillaz piece and I am surprised this made it in for a good reason. Prior to the tracklisting reveal, I thought it's not gonna be there and read the reasons for this but around that time, I send my source tracks to DJ Useo for this and he helped tweaking this track for me so it's kinda a collaboration piece of sorts. Now the vocals are a bit rough (prior to the tweak) and this is the best I got from this track so maybe this track should have been done more. Oh well, another note that this is inspired by The Crow given that NIN's Dead Souls cover is from the movie and its soundtrack so you'll hear a bit of Brandon Lee in this track (one from a bootleg workprint no less).

Okay, I'm on to the first of two of my Foo Fighters jams from the album and this one is an interesting piece. You see, when I made this track at the start, I was disatisfied with it and don't know why so I send the demo for the compilation and thought it didn't pick up at the time. And then, Chocomang suggested to find a better quality instrumental and tweak this track a bit and I know why I was wrong at that time. So I send it couple of my approved copies of the track and one of those copies got through and am glad about this.

Then, I goofed up as usual since the version of the compilation has a OOT point involving the first chorus that I noticed just this week so I decide to fix the first chorus up and I am kicking myself on this so I released this version instead of the one that's in the compilation. Other than that, happy holidays and will be back another day for the other Foo Fighters piece.

Now I have done a couple of Beck mash-ups in the past and some are less than stellar but it's still around and this one is better than those couple in my opinion. Also, it has a title that clicked and is based upon the "make a mash with similar title" tactic but with a bit of difference there.

I'm back and in business to release singles that's in brand spankin' new Mashups To Knock Your Teeth Out! compilation that's compiled by the team at AudioBoots. Now honestly, I have been hard at work left and right for this and made several cuts - ten of which made it in, a few that didn't and a couple that is left unfinished. This first one nearly didn't made it in due to Tears For Fears' genre involvement but Chocomang is helpful to place it as a bonus track and I am happy about this.

Now I know the difference between "Scream" and "Shout" even though I added scream sound fx (and a couple of shout clips) and early this year, I plan to make this a Halloween tune but real life sort-of caught in the way and I semi-abandon it before I revived it for the compilation instead. So enjoy this one and be back tomorrow for another track.
